The dog days of Summer are upon us, with a vengeance I might add. I don't know about you, but I've spent a lot of time hiding in the AC, which has given me lots of time to clean, mend, and photograph my ever growing collection of men's and women's vintage clothing and accessories. Here are just a few new additions to the Noble Savage Vintage Shop on Ruby Lane. I hope you enjoy.
1920's Linen Day Dress |
1920 Sis Hopkin's Midi Blouse |
Who remembers Sis Hopkins, not the 1940's version, but the original starring Rose Mellville? Yes, silly question as she was well before all of our times. However, this midi Blouse bears the Sis Hopkin's label making it highly collectible and is in wonderful condition making it quite wearable. In fact it looks just fab with the skirt below (imagine that). For more info on my research for this blouse, click here. I had a blast looking into this piece.
1920's Sporty Cotton Skirt |
More early ladies"sportswear". This lovely sporty blue cotton skirt features wrap around pork chop pockets with a pretty white soutache embroidery which carries onto the center front.
Late Victorian Men's Printed Percale Shirt |
1930's Men's Manhattan Tuxedo Shirt w/ French Cuffs |
Silk Plush Top Hat |
