Jean Shrimpton 1960's model

Jean Shrimpton is an English model and actress born in 1942 she was an icon of the Swinging London Scene. She is also considered to be the worlds first super model having appeared on the covers of Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, Vanity Fair, Glamour, Elle, Ladies Homes Journal, Newsweek and Times magazines. She also starred in the film Privilege alongside Paul Jones the front man of the pop group Manfred Man.
Shrimpton also help launch the mini skirt and in 1965 caused a sensation in Australia when she wore a white shift dress designed by Colin Rolfe which ended 10cm above her knees at the Victoria Derby.
She wore no hat, stockings or gloves and wore a man's watch which was unusual at the time.
