Sherwood Schwartz passed away on Tuesday, July 12 at 94 years. Best known (in my home) as the creator of not only The Brady Bunch and Gilligan's Island, but also as composer of those two ear worm theme songs. The two shows were not on the air that long - Brady Bunch for 5 seasons and Gilligan's Island 3, but they made a lasting impression - reaching pop-culture status.
One of my favorite characters is, of course, Ginger! Why she had so many fabulous outfits for a three hour cruise on a boat that could fit only 5 people and no storage - I'll never know.
